Instructions for Authors

1. General Information

The Korean Journal of Women Health Nursing accepts original manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and clinical practice in women’s health nursing. Submissions must be prepared in accordance with the journal’s guidelines and should not have been published or submitted elsewhere.

2. Types of Manuscripts

  • Original Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Case Reports
  • Short Communications

3. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be written in clear and concise English or Korean. Authors are responsible for ensuring grammatical accuracy prior to submission.

3.1 Format

  • Typed in double spacing
  • Standard A4 size with adequate margins
  • Pages should be numbered consecutively

3.2 Structure

  • Title Page
  • Abstract and Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References

4. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must summarize the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of the study. Authors should provide 3–6 keywords.

5. References

References should follow a standardized citation style. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all references.

6. Ethical Considerations

Research involving human subjects must comply with ethical standards and institutional guidelines. Approval from an appropriate ethics committee should be obtained where applicable.

7. Submission

8. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo peer review. The editorial board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to manuscripts.

9. Copyright

Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article. Authors retain responsibility for the content of their work.
